Eamonn Holmes OBE (/ ˈ eɪ m ə n /; born 3 December 1959) [2] is a Northern Irish [3] broadcaster and journalist. He co-presented the breakfast television show GMTV (1993–2005) for ITV, before presenting Sunrise (2005–2016) for Sky News.

UTV Live was introduced in January 1993 as a new name for Ulster Television's existing news programmes; Six Tonight, the station's half-hour evening news magazine, [6] and Ulster Newstime for shorter bulletins.
