[4] As of 2023, Hickman County is part of the Nashville–Davidson – Murfreesboro – Franklin, TN Metropolitan Statistical Area, [5] although it was once removed in 2018.

The mansion was built from 1866 to 1868. [2] The plantation house was restored in the late 1960s and 1970s by Lipscomb University Dean, Mack Wayne Craig, and it burned down in 1975.
