The origins of the Casper Star-Tribune date to 1891, when the weekly Natrona Tribune began publishing under the ownership of 20 men organized as the Republican Publishing Co. [3] [4] In 1897, A.J. Mokler acquired the newspaper and changed its name to the Natrona County Tribune.
