    Not too long ago I had a conversation with my 22 year old son about the 0083 series and he asked “why would anyone pursue a career in the 0083 field”? I am sure there are a couple of reasons why one would pursue a job or remain in the 0083 series but there seems to be so many better options. It is poorly compensated

    I would like to read any thoughts police officers have on this youtube video of citizens asking for a complaint form . According to the news video only 3 of 38 police departments that were tested, even had complaint forms. From the video the people that asked for the complaint forms were not treated well.

    When I worked in news I found out that FHP (Florida) Troopers were supposed to wear their hats when out of their cars, . When I would shoot video I would usually let them know I was there so they could put them on before I got started. They always seemed to appreciate it.
