  2. Xanathar's Guide is by far the best of the expansion books for 5e. The new subclasses are, for the most part, super cool and fun (They even made good subclasses for Ranger), the new optional rules are helpful, the section on traps is fantastic, and the new spells are almost all really neat. It's a fantastic book.

Here's the Google Docs link to the pdf In it, you can find to which book that spell pertains to, their school of magic (on the books, some were indicated, some not, so I just did every one) and which are ritual spells.

  5. Xanathar's Guide Available on PDF? : r/DnD - Reddit

While I understand why, it'd definitely be handy if it were in PDF form. You can quickly search stuff that way. Shame you can't "program" something into the PDF to make the words utter gibberish if you pirated it, like what they did with Game Dev Tycoon. If you pirate that game, your company goes under because people pirate your games.

So for the EE spells, here is what I have found for changes to them over the pdf. Abi-Dalzim’s Horrid Wilting (Added line) Nonmagical plants in the area that aren’t creatures, such as trees and shrubs, wither and die instantly. Immolation (Increased damage) 7d6 -> 8d6 3d6-> 4d6 Pyrotechnics. Now says it only targets nonmagical flame

This is an expanded version of the This Is Your Life chapter from Xanathar's Guide to Everything. I really liked the idea of tables you can roll on to help create your backstory, but felt it was a bit limited. I added a bunch of options and simplified it a bit as well. Please let me know what you think and if you have any recommendations to add.

  10. xanathar's guide to everything or tashas cauldron of everything?

    www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/juk1vq/xanathars_guide_to_everything_or_tashas...

Both include new tools for DMs. Xanathar's includes random encounters and new mechanics for DMs, while Tasha's will include new puzzles, and locations. Both include new spells and magic items (Xanathar's only includes common items though). Tasha's will also include magical tattoos, group patrons, and sidekicks.

Yeah, I'd probably do something like that, too, if my PCs were so inclined. My problem is that once the PCs finish an adventure, they take a long rest then march off for the next thing that's caught their interest. They are adventurers to the max--
