45k on mine, oil change every 5k miles max, and the only mechanical issue I've had is the gas cap failing. Everything else has been great and Hyundai has actually taken care of me with warranty parts, all of the following have been fre
Genesis Coupe Reliability I’m currently in hopes of buying a genesis coupe (2.0t or 3.8) but I’m not too sure what mileage is considered “too much”. I have a couple in mind but one specifically is a Bk1 2.0t with 119k miles, The car is a clean title with no signs of any major previous damage but the mileage worries me.
Hello everyone,I am looking into buying a used car soon and I am considering a Scion FRS (2014 ish) or a Hyundai Genesis (2011 ish). Now I really like both but the FRS is almost double the price where I live (FRS:15000$ - Gen: 8000$). The most important things to me when looking for a car are: 1: reliability
The 2015 Hyundai Genesis was only around for a little over 2 years. It has since been slightly modified and is now known as the Genesis G80. Genesis is now its own brand, not a model. The 2015 Genesis has a choice of 2 engines, either a 3.8 liter V6 or a 5.0 liter V8. Rear wheel drive is standard, but all wheel drive is available on the V6 models.
I had a 2015 Genesis Coupe 3.8 and it never gave me any problems. I had it for three years and drove it from from 18 miles to 35000 miles so it didn’t really have a chance to act up. Hyundai had shit quality control when making these cars so be careful. I have a 2016 Gen 3.8 AT completely stock besides a catback. To date, I have blown through 2 rear main seals, replaced the throttle body after a critical failure, and replaced the idler pulley and bracket after it came off completely.

Hey everyone. Please take it easy on me, as this is my first post, and I don't know much about cars, haha. I was really hoping to get the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T, but then the question of Hyundai reliability was raised. Historically, Hyundai hasn't exactly been a great brand, so my question...
the turbo system itself, many issues result in having to replace the turbo or the inter-cooler system at low mileage. i dont have the links, i just remember looking to buy one and seeing different articles about it. id go with the 3.8 if i were you. not too many issues at all with the 3.8v6 engine. i wouldve got one of those but i got a better deal with my car.
