  2. How Long are Dogs Pregnant? | Puppy Forum and Dog Forums

    www.dogforums.com/threads/how-long-are-dogs-pregnant.925

Huh. I never knew it was such a short amount of time, and for some crazy reason I had an idea that it differed slightly based on the type of dog. I have no clue why I thought that since it doesn't make any sense! Dogs are pregnant between 61-63 days. From the first tie count 63 to 65 days for whelp.

  3. How to Tell if Your Dog is Pregnant?

    www.dogforums.com/threads/how-to-tell-if-your-dog-is-pregnant.924

The quickest way to tell if the dog is pregnant is to take the dog to a vet and have blood drawn. It is VERY important to do this as sometimes what you may think is a pregnancy is a closed Pyometria, which can of cousre kill the bitch and is an automatic spay.

There are no accidents when puppies are born - simply irresponsibility. And I didn't ask if she had champion bloodlines...I asked if SHE was a champion.

  6. Can anyone tell me about split heats? | Puppy Forum and Dog...

    www.dogforums.com/threads/can-anyone-tell-me-about-split-heats.92015

Dogs can and do come into heat as often as every 3 months or as late as every 18 months. Dogs along with horses can have what is called a Spec/Silent heat, which is showing no signs of being in heat but they have a vivable ovum. In other words, can or will stand for a breeding and conceive.

  8. What would really happen if I don't neuter my dog?

    www.dogforums.com/threads/what-would-really-happen-if-i-dont-neuter-my-dog.381050

For male dogs, meh. As long as you can keep him from getting females pregnant, no big deal. There's no health benefits to neutering a male dog (well, there are pros and cons on each side but they come out even, IMO) so it's just about birth control (and being able to take them to dog parks, daycares, etc.).

  9. Stomach noises coming from my pregnant dog all night...

    www.dogforums.com/threads/stomach-noises-coming-from-my-pregnant-dog-all-night...

I asked the vet and sure enough, she was 4 weeks pregnant. It's been about 3 weeks since then and she's gotten bigger and territorial towards the other dog in my house. (We will keep the seperated once she goes into labor and until the puppies are older.) Her stomach was making noises all night long last night.

  10. How long does your food last? | Puppy Forum and Dog Forums

    www.dogforums.com/threads/how-long-does-your-food-last.119457

By my math, to feed 6 dogs 2 cups each a day, 35 pounds would last. . .12 days or so. Between them, my dogs eat about 2 pounds a day, so a 40-pound bag lasts 20 days. I usually have 2 bags open at a time because I feed Moose separately and I don't want to lug food back and forth so I guess the 2 bags last 40 days. They used to eat a lot more. . .

  11. Pregnant dog aggression and jealousy | Puppy Forum and Dog Forums

    www.dogforums.com/threads/pregnant-dog-aggression-and-jealousy.76271

My dog (41 days pregnant) has suddenly become very jealous of any attention given to our other dog/the father of her babies. Today, she jumped over and tried to take a bite outta him! If anyone in the house tries to pet him, she immediately runs over and gets in front of him, shows her teeth to him and starts to growl until he runs away scared.
