Just got this too, but no ‘yubert’. “Verify your 7-eleven account” “Your account was accessed from a new device”. The email is from noreply@7-eleven.com. went to 7 eleven website and tried to reset and got no email. I’m not clicking on shit, I almost got scammed yesterday on a zelle refund scam.
The problem is right out of the airport, taxi driver doesn’t accept credit card. 7-Eleven (and all convenience stores) accept Easycard (the Taipei MRT travel card), but not credit card and contactless credit/debit cards and several payment methods (LINE pay, Apple Pay, and the very popular Jkopay etc).

7-Eleven is an international chain of convenience stores, headquartered in Irving, Texas, that operates, franchises, and licenses some 56,600 stores in 18 countries. You’d have 45k points by now if you had used the 7/11 app from the start. Pay thru the app and get 3x points. And if you set your monthly perk, you can get even more points. You can redeem them for free stuff, discounts etc. Sometimes I stop in at lunch and get like free wings or a hotdog and a soda.
How many 7Rewards points do you have? I've been hoarding my 7Rewards points since the start, and I'm up to 44,614 points so far. Cashiers are always asking when I'm going to use them, and I always say I'm saving them for emergencies. Anyone else have a ton of points saved up? Nope I always use them on drinks. Knowing myself, I'd probably always ...
TL;DR: 7-Eleven (7-Bank) ATMs charge its own fee to withdraw money on top of your home bank fees (if you have any): ¥110 for ¥10,000. ¥220 for ¥20,000+. Edit: There seems to be some confusion on the type of fees I’m talking about. I am NOT talking about any of the fees issued by your home bank.
Right, 7-Eleven is always the absolute bottom of convenience store food offerings anywhere on the mainland. I'd say most places really don't have any kind of convenience store where you'd eat anything hot. Chips, drink, etc. would be the only options. Wawa is the uncontested king. Sheetz is a distant runner-up.
