Fremont–Mills Community School District is a rural public school district headquartered in Tabor, Iowa, serving sections of Fremont and Mills counties. Communities in its service area are Tabor, Randolph, and Thurman. [2] It took portions of the former Farragut Community School District when the State of Iowa dissolved it on July 1, 2016. [3]
At the Incarnate Word High School San Antonio, Texas classes run on a modular schedule. Each day is broken down into 17 time-periods called "mods." Mods are 20 minutes long, except the lunch mods, which are 26 minutes. The schedule is on a two-week cycle. There are no bells between mods, and students are responsible for arriving to classes on time.
On July 1, 1991, the Fremont district absorbed a portion of the Hedrick Community School District, involuntarily dissolved by the State of Iowa on that day. [2]Around 1994, when the Eddyville and Blakesburg school districts were merging into the E-B district, officials from those two districts asked the officials of the Fremont district if they were interested in merging too.

Panorama Elementary School, which is located in the northwest corner of Panora on Clay Street, serves grades K–5, and, on the westside of Panora north of Iowa 44, the Panorama Middle School/High School building, which opened its doors for school as the Panora-Linden Middle School/High School in August 1974, [6] serves grades 6–12.
In 1871, Fremont stretched for 8 blocks, 1/2 mile (under 1 km) along Main Street, with at least one house on every block on the north side of the street and a few houses on Washington Street, one block north. There was a Baptist church, a hotel, three stores, a barber shop and a school. The town also had a physician, a blacksmith and a shoemaker.
