U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships for sponsorship purposes) was a tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 54th edition of the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships, and an ATP Tour 250 event on the 2024 ATP Tour.
Ben Shelton defeated the defending champion Frances Tiafoe [1] in the final, 7–5, 4–6, 6–3 to win the singles tennis title at the 2024 U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships. [2] It was his second career ATP Tour title, and his first on clay. Shelton became the youngest player to win the tournament since Andy Roddick in 2002.
River Oaks' golf course was the venue for the PGA Tour's Western Open in 1940, and the Houston Open in 1937, 1938, and 1946. River Oaks has been home to the River Oaks International Tennis Tournament from 1931 until it was merged with the oldest clay court tournaments in the United States, the U.S Men's Clay Court Championships. Club Westside is a private tennis club in Houston, Texas. It was the former home (2001–2007) to the ATP Tour U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships. Its 5,240-seat Gallery Furniture Stadium was the home of the Houston Wranglers of World TeamTennis. The stadium also hosted the Tennis Masters Cup in 2003 and 2004.
