Ida Laila (November 27, 1943 – September 12, 2019) was an Indonesian singer. Laila was known for her dangdut and Malay music. [1] She was a popular singer in the 1960s and the 1970s, and was best known for her song "Keagungan Tuhan" ("God's Majesty") which was written by Abdul Malik Buzaid.

Her success, along with that of Rhoma Irama, meant that by 1975, 75 per cent of all recorded music in Indonesia was of the dangdut genre, with pop bands such as Koes Plus adopting the style. Dangdut is a popular semitraditional music genre of Indonesia which is partly derived of Indian, Arabic, and Malay music in the late 1960s in Jakarta city. It consists of melodious and harmonical music with the main tabla as the percussion beat especially in the classical dangdut versions.
