The Kalaignar Centenary Super Specialty Hospital was a proposed 500-bed multi-super specialty hospital in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. [5] It was planned to be constructed on the King Institute campus in Guindy. Announced by the Tamil Nadu government on June 3, 2021, the hospital was to be established at a cost of ₹250 crore. [5]
The six-storied hospital was inaugurated on 21 February 2014, with four medical departments, namely, cardiology, neurology, medical oncology and nephrology and five surgical departments, namely, cardiothoracic, neuro, hand and reconstructive micro surgery, vascular and surgical oncology, in addition to a lifestyle clinic for yoga and naturopathy.

Government Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine is a state-owned hospital situated in K. K. Nagar in Chennai, India. Founded in 1979, the hospital is funded and managed by the state government of Tamil Nadu and is attached to Directorate of Medical Education.
