One of a Kind is the first extended play of South Korean rapper G-Dragon. It was released on September 15, 2012, digitally, and September 18 physically, through YG Entertainment. [1] The EP consists of seven songs all written or co-written, and co-composed by G-Dragon himself. [1] Upon release, the album was a commercial success in South Korea. [2]
The success of Coup d'Etat led to G-Dragon winning Artist of the Year at the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards. [ 12 ] After a four-year hiatus as a solo artist, G-Dragon released his second extended play Kwon Ji Yong in June 2017, which spawned the number one single, Untitled, 2014 .
G-Dragon was born on August 18, 1988, in Seoul, South Korea. [1] He enrolled at Kyung Hee University in 2008 to study post-modern music. He later dropped out due to his busy schedule, and instead majored in Leisure Sports Studies at Gukje Cyber University, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in 2013.

The One of a Kind World Tour was the first headlining concert tour by South Korean singer and rapper G-Dragon, in support of his first EP One of a Kind (2012). The tour visited 9 countries and 13 cities in 2013, gathering a total of 570,000 fans, making it the most attended concert tour by a Korean solo artist at the time.
"One of a Kind" is a song by South Korean rapper G-Dragon. Released on August 24, 2012 through YG Entertainment, it served as the lead single from the extended play of the same name. Written solely by G-Dragon, the rapper also worked with long-time collaborator Choice37 to produce the music.
