Caprica is a 2010 American science fiction drama television series, which is a prequel spin-off of the 2004–2009 series Battlestar Galactica. Caprica is set 58 years before the main series, and shows how humanity first created the Cylon androids who would later turn against their human masters.

But the thing is, Caprica was originally given a 20 episode order. Two of these were used in the production of the pilot, and after the fact it was reduced by one--making the season order for 19 episodes. If the pilot is listed only as 1, the Wikipedia numbering will incorrectly indicate an 18 episode season.
