10 team 4 court round robin schedule on: January 16, 2017, 12:01:14 AM I'm looking for a round robin schedule for 10 teams 4 court, playing each team twice.
It is my first schedule so please check that everyone plays against everyone. It could perhaps be optimized better regarding when they have there byes. Now G has a bye in both round 4 and 6 and perhaps it would be better to have more than one game between your byes. (Realize that changing the order of round 6 and 7 might be an improvement.)

Re: 10 team round robin draw with 2 teams having a Reply #1 on: May 26, 2014, 07:12:08 AM If you use v5.1 of the Excel generator , then you can easily make two Double Round Robins for 5 teams, and these are all the within-division games, that would give 10 rounds of play with one bye in each division per round.
Looking to make a 10 Team Round Robin Tournament. No eliminations. All teams play each other 1 time. There are 3 "fields" available (batting cage tunnels). All teams need to play each other once. We don't want any team to have back to back byes. That's about it for requirements. An Excel form would be great, but clearly not necessary.

The same 2 tables could be used for rounds 10 to 18 giving the desired double round-robin, where all teams play 6 times on each course. However, if table 2 is modified for the second half of the league, such that 1 = course B, 2 = course C and 3 = course A, then the 2 match-ups between any given pair of teams will be scheduled on different courses.
The terminology of a round robin may differ according to it's application. The pairing of two items (one-on-one) might be known as a game, match, outing. An item that is paired might be known as a player or team. A round might be known as a week or meet. Whist. Whist tables for 4n people. A whist tournament is a variation of a round robin.
