The sparse app store and lack of new app support in general is disappointing, however it's nothing that a half-price 4K Fire TV Stick on Prime Day won't resolve Panasonic 55GZ950 OLED / 4K Fire TV Stick / Humax HDR-FOX T2 PVR / Yamaha RX-V673 AV amp with B&W DM602 S3 mains, B&W CC602 S6 centre & Tannoy 603 for rears / PS5, PS4, PS3, Wii
Hi I stream Disney Plus by casting the app from my phone to a Google Chromecast plugged into my AVR. Up until now it has always streamed in DD+ but for some reason it has now started playing everything in Dolby Pro Logic 2. I have had a few weeks of not using it while I moved house so it was...

Users can install the Disney+ Android app from the Google Play Store. I just looked in the TV app section and find no Google App Store although found something called App Store but clicking on it does not seem the Google at all. Annoying when a old early 2017 £35 Fire tablet can get Disney+.
The problem with Disney is that they do not support dolby (it doesnt matter what kind) in the android TV app. If you attach an google chromecast on you,re tv it will work (even dolby 6.1) they are aware of this problem for almost a year. all tv models above will work. Sony TV,s do need the right settings then youre avr will show de DD sign.

In the end we bought a 4K Apple TV. Have to say the experience is very good. I hate the remote (so easy to pick it up the wrong way round in the dark and jab at a touchpad that isn’t there!), but it does bring together all the services needed. 4k content on iTunes is also pretty good value every now and then so have picked up a few 99p bargains.
The first FAQ confirms that webos 3.0 TVs (like mine) currently cannot do UHD on the Disney + app, but they are working on it. This could mean an update to the app (I'm currently on 1.2.7) or an update to the TV's firmware (I'm currently on 05.30.80) OR BOTH!
This is a weird one. my Disney+ has worked fine since the service launched. I run the app on my LG TV which has a wired connection. The last couple of weeks any program I stream will regularly stop and display the no internet connection message. It then comes back on after a few seconds, 10 to...
