The Cloud II launched years ago long before Ngenuity was a thing and they never updated or redesigned the USB box to work with the software. The Cloud II Wireless works in Ngenuity, as do a few of their other newer headsets.
I downloaded Ngenuity software and it upgraded my firmware version and random static noise issue became worse. I had to download an Equalizer program and changed some equalizer settings and kept volume levels under 30. Now ngenuity updated itself to latest windows version, it can't detect my HyperX Cloud Alpha S anymore.
The crashes are caused by RivaTuner Statistics Server, and NGENUITY isn't the only software affected. To stop the crashes, make sure to use the latest (to date) MSI Afterburner , version 4.6.5 Final build, which comes with the latest version of RTSS, ver v7.3.4.

The tech support hasn't answered in 30 days, the ofiical groups reports the brand was sold to HP, meaning no support to HyperX anymore. Worst spends in my life.
The software shouldn't be out before products are compatible with it. I'm kinda surprised just how many of the posts here are complaints about it. I just bought a Pulsefire Raid mouse and after installing & rebooting, NGenuity still doesn't detect it, and I hate RGB lights - I want to turn it off entirely or set it to a low luminosity so it's ...
