The Omni Berkshire Place hotel is located at 21 East 52nd Street, near Madison Avenue, in Midtown Manhattan in New York City. It is owned and operated by Omni Hotels & Resorts . The hotel was also inducted into Historic Hotels of America , the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation , in 2010.

Berkshire Village Historic District is a national historic district located at Berkshire in Tioga County, New York. The district includes 17 properties with 25 contributing buildings, including 13 historic residences. The buildings date from about 1820 to 1932. [2] It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. [1]

The houses were added to the NRHP as a single listing, the "Houses at 647, 651-53 Fifth Avenue and 4 East 52nd Street". [1] In 1987, Cartier asked the building's owner Olympic Tower Associates for permission to renovate the building's interior. Olympic originally declined, but a New York Supreme Court judge ruled in favor of Cartier in 1989. [121]
