Missouri City is served by the Missouri City Branch of the Fort Bend County Libraries system. The library, across the street from the City Hall complex and the Missouri City Civic Center, opened in June 1992. The 18,642 square feet (1,731.9 m 2) branch, designed by Hall/Merriman Architects, was the first of four branches built with 1989 bond funds.
Fulshear's Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library is a part of the Fort Bend County Libraries system. The branch, which opened in May 1998, was the third branch built with 1989 bond funds. The land currently occupied by the library was previously the Fort Bend County Precinct 4 headquarters.

It is the home venue of LOVB Houston in LOVB Pro. The facility comprises an 8,600-seat arena, conference rooms, a multi-purpose area, and an outdoor pavilion.
