Fixed Broadheads for Ravin R10. I have been a big fan of Muzzy 4 blade broadheads for a long time as they flew practically like field points out of my various well tuned compound bows. Tested them on my Ravin R9 and R10 (after a slight adjustment/tuning of arrow rest), but last year, after several trials with different brands, I decided that ...
This summer I spent a lot of time testing a couple different vane and feather combinations from 2"-4"; with a tuned bow and a slightly out of tune bow shooting fixed broadheads (standard muzzy, 4 blade Wasp boss, stingers). I really wanted the 4" Q2i with a heavy helical to win. 4 fletch blazers was the best. I suggest doing your own test.
Mini Sabre Vanes. Scientifically developed - Ultra Stable - Ultra Quiet - Ultra Tough The Mini Sabre is great for field points (3d, TAC events), mechanical broadheads, and small (`1") fixed broadheads. Ultra-low drag racing vanes! Scientifically developed over 2 years, tested using computational fluid dynamics...
df06. Best, is one that is shaving sharp. Flight is a function of bow tune, proper arrow spine and shooting form, in the vast majority of cases. Exodous have removable blades that can be sharpened to a better edge than those with fixed non removable blades. I’ve used them some with very good results.
You want the Brodhead to be a straight 2 blade. This has the least resistance of any Broadhead design and best performance in low energy setups by a wide margin. Adding arrow weight helps of course. I like 10-12 GPP of bow weight in stickbows but you could probably be a little under that in a compound and be fine.
Shooting 4 blade 1.25inch 315fps. 4 fletchings. Heat vanes wouldnt group with fp at 40yards. Max stealth vanes barely hit the target at 40. Flex fletch sk300 shot perfect. They require a little more maintenance to get to stick and the color fades but they shoot very well. Ps this is after bareshaft tuning the bow to 40 yards.

Plus they also are the best for penetration. A Magnus stinger 2 bladed broadhead is hard to beat. Deer tremble when they hear my name. I ain't no pimp.
Best vane for big fixed blade broadhead? Building a new arrow for next year. Most likely going to be a victory rip xv with a 200 grain GK silver flame xxl up front with a footer. So I’ll be shooting like an 18% FOC arrow that’s almost 600 grains with a 2” two-blade broadhead. What vane setup should I run?

Back in the '80's into the early '90's i shot enough sharpen yourself, cut on contact broadheads at deer, elk, bear to realize that I wasn't happy with 1 1/16" to 1 1/8" blade width. Zwickey Delta's with 1 3/8" and big Snuffers were better.
to me the word Best means- Best materials, Strongest against bending or breaking, best flight, Best penetration... With that said, a replaceable blade broadhead can be ruled out. 2 blade cut on contact that is made from the highest grade materials and still flies with field points out to 100 yards.... IRONWILL are one of the very best.
