Left an iPad in the seatback on flight 1200 from Chicago to Atlanta last Friday -- I was pretty tired after a 16 hour flight from Hong Kong, and a 27 hour layover in Chicago due to flooding. Atlanta luggage staff were very helpful about searching for it, but no luck.
American Airlines | AAdvantage - Anybody have any luck with AA lost and found - Left a jacket on the plane in DFW, noticed right when I got off, but had to hurry to next flight. Filled out a lost and found while on the next plane, so within 30 minutes of walking off the first plane. Never got the jacket back.
7- When you arrive at the lost&found desk, provide the reference number to the employee, pick the item, and sign the documents. Then an agent would escort you out the hall, do not leave the hall by yourself if you are picking an item from the international lost&found office.

never book a flight with such short connection. always label your luggage (inside/outside) efficiently (name/surname/phone) so it can be identified if lost. never loose luggage sticker until you get your luggage at final destination. always check the state of your luggage and the content before leaving airport.
Left an iPad on a flight from MDW-LAS on Monday 5/28. Stopped by the lost baggage desk near the carousels and they didn't hold on to it there. They said an iPad matching my descriptions was forwarded on to their lost & found recovery center in central AL. I have filled out an online claim form back on 5/29 but still no one's gotten back to me.
Posts: 370. On the AA site, select any of the Plan Travel, Travel Information or AAdvantage tabs at the top. Select Your Trips. Select "Search for another trip" and fill in the name flight number, date and from city. The trip will display with the PNR.

American Airlines | AAdvantage - Anybody have any luck with AA lost and found - It looks like they outsourced this and I am starting to doubt they even try to recover anything. I am not sure what it says about me, but I manged to leave an iPad twice on a plane this year. Once on a flight to MUC and recently on a plane.
