I have a Dell laptop, originally Windows 7 but upgraded to Windows 10. The webcam works fine and saves photos and videos to Camera Roll but the webcam stops recording when the file size gets to more than 2GB, which takes 3 hours of recording. I get a message that the file size is getting too large so the webcam stops recording.
The problem is the Camera app in my laptop is not recording video. When I click on the video icon it seems like it starts to record but instantly stops and no video is recorded. I can take pictures just fine. Thanks in advance!

What type of PC do you use? Is it a laptop or desktop computer? Turning off the monitor on a desktop computer shouldn't affect the webcam recording. Are you using a USB or an in-built webcam? You could see if resetting the Camera app helps: - Click Start and type "apps & features". - Select Apps & Features. - Find the app in the list and select it.
