Your train ride takes you 9 miles up to the summit of Pikes Peak but your journey transports you back in time. Enter Pike National Forest, travel along Ruxton Creek, by Diamond Rock, within the steep, rocky walls of Englemann Canyon, past stacked boulder formations, a striking waterfall, and through Deer Park.
The ride to the top of the Pikes Peak Visitor Center is a little over one hour, and once we arrive, we spend 40 minutes on the Summit before we depart. In the summer, we operate daily, with departures every 40 minutes.

For customers visiting only the Cog and not planning to spend time in Manitou Springs before or after your Cog journey, we strongly suggest you park at the Cog Railway lot. Parking in City lots generally costs between $10-20.
