I bought a Coleman BT200X the other day for fun when they went on sale at a local feed store. I want to build something fun to just mess around on. I was looking at the stage 2 upgrade kit from OMB Warehouse and removing the governor or swapping in a 212 Predator and removing the governor.
The Predator 212 motor fits the Coleman CT200U-A frame, but the gas tank cap sits directly under the seat when installed. It's a real pain in the ass to try to put gas in this thing without changing the gas tank. This means you have to remove the exhaust and air box in order to remove the tank.
Same bike Coleman RT200... at first I thought it was the clutch itself and I want to do a torque clutch on it anyway... then I seen this video and decided to rip it down, I don't know the exact name of the parts however I had the same problem when I disassembled I realized that there is a long oval pin in between the two sprockets and the shaft ...
Two Coleman minibikes compared So like I said earlier, I’m looking at a mini bike for the grandkids on the farm. Locally I have a Coleman B-100 for $550 and a Coleman CT-100U for $600.
For the engines, like I said Coleman uses chinese made onda clones, usually the Hisun 196cc, but because of covid production stalls the RB had a Taotao engine. They're the same thing, can take the same kind of mod parts. Some people will tell you to swap it with a predator 212cc. But there's s no point.

They have both a pen tip or a small brush in the cap. These are easier to find in either a hardware store or walmart. However they usually only have generic colors like black, white, silver, and red. For a tan you're probably going to have to go to an auto parts store again where they'll have a wider selection.
The point is, if the post has the options down to a Coleman mini bike and a Tao Tao, I assume OP isn’t rich. The fact that the mini bike is about half the price of the Tao Tao (new) and the OP doesn’t have enough experience to know which way to go tells me that he is seeking advice on the spend.
Also a stage 1 is a kit to make mini bike breathe better and have fumes exit better. The kit includes and upgraded exhaust pipe and adapter and new air filter for the carb. I bought a 22mm nibbi carb and 48mm nibbi air filter though because it bypasses governor and makes bike way faster.
Trying to find a 100cc Coleman mini bike for my son. They are impossible to find around here (Oregon) for weeks now. Everywhere I've looked is out of stock. Any thoughts about where to find a Coleman, or similarly priced mini bike?
