To renew your 5-Year Professional or Associate License, you must complete either 6 semester hours of coursework related to classroom teaching or the area of licensure, or 180 continuing education contact hours (18 continuing education units).
Continuing Education Hours Exemptions. Held a license for 30 years or more Licensees who were issued an Ohio Board license for thirty (30) or more years, before October 2, 1994, are NOT required to complete CE hours.
