The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is a United Nations related organization working in the field of migration. The organization implements operational assistance programmes for migrants, including internally displaced persons, refugees, and migrant workers. The International Organization for Migration is a UN agency based in Geneva.
The Global Migration Group (GMG) is a group consisting of fourteen UN agencies, the World Bank and the International Organisation for Migration that work to address global migration issues. GMG was created in 2006 by then UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan to better coordinate multilateral migration governance initiatives. [ 1 ]

The Prison of Migration (Albanian: Burgu i Mërgimit) is an artistic Albanian film that treats the real situation of the 1990s Albania. It shows the suffering of Albanians away from their country, and trying to stay away from foreign jails of ex- Yugoslavia .
The organization has been proposed by academics and researchers such as Professor Jagdish Bhagwati and Arthur Helton [2] and discussed by organizations such as the Global Commission on International Migration (GCIM), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the World Bank and others. The other two members of the society were the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS) and the Refugee Studies Centre (RSC). [7] [8] IMI was also a collaborator to the International Organization for Migration (IOM). [9] It was also listed as a partner for the migration program of the Social Science Research Council. [10]
