Erie Bluffs State Park is a 587-acre (238 ha) [2] Pennsylvania state park in Girard and Springfield Townships, Erie County, Pennsylvania in the United States. The park is the largest undeveloped stretch of land overlooking Lake Erie in Pennsylvania.
The amount of information found at the Sommerheim Park sites makes them one of the leading archaeological sites in the Erie area and the southern shoreline of Lake Erie. [ 2 ] : 7 In recognition of their significance, the sites were designated a historic district and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
From County Line Road, Seaway Trail continues along Lake Road passing the Ginna Nuclear Generating Station (3.4 miles) and on to Sodus Point, on the shores of Sodus Bay. There, the trail takes NY 14 south to Ridge Road. "The Ridge" heads east through the village of Wolcott to its eastern terminus at NY 370.

Beechwood State Park features approximately 1,500 feet (460 m) of shoreline along Lake Ontario. The narrow pebble beach has been impacted by erosion and is littered with a number of trees that have fallen from the adjacent bluffs. [5] The park also features several miles of mowed hiking trails, a picnic pavilion, and several small shelters.

The district encompasses 63 buildings and 1 structure in a predominantly residential section of Fort Wayne. The area was developed from about 1887 to 1955 and includes notable examples of the Colonial Revival , Tudor Revival , Bungalow / American Craftsman , and Italianate styles of residential architecture.
