Lisa Frank (born 1955) is an American artist and businesswoman, the founder of Lisa Frank Incorporated, headquartered in Tucson, Arizona.She is known for producing whimsical commercial design for school supplies and other products that are primarily marketed to children and young adolescents.
Gutmann initially worked as an independent commercial artist drawing portraits and newspapers advertisements. In 1903, she gained employment with the publishing firm of Gutmann & Gutmann which specialized in fine art prints. The first children's book she illustrated was a 1905 edition of A Child's Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson.
