The Victoria Art Gallery is a public art museum in Bath, Somerset, England.It was opened in 1900 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria.It is a Grade II* listed building and houses over 1,500 objects of art including a collection of oil paintings from British artists dating from 1700 onwards.
Vickery was born in Bunyip, Victoria in Australia in 1906. [1] He relocated to New York, New York in the United States in 1936. He was colleagues with Philip Guston, Jackson Pollock, Joan Mitchell, and Willem de Kooning. [2] He died in Califon, New Jersey in 1983. [1]
A major exhibition of his portraits was held at the National Portrait Gallery in 2004, and there have been other major exhibitions at Victoria Art Gallery, Bath (2013) and at The Photographers' Gallery, London (2017). He was represented in an important exhibition at Tate, Liverpool in 2006.

It holds collections of artefacts, works of art, documents, specimens, and information relating to Jersey's history, culture, and environment. The trust was formally registered in Jersey on 3 June 1983.
