Édgar Ponce García (27 December 1974 – 5 May 2005) was a Mexican actor and dancer.Ponce was a member of the male dance troupe Sólo Para Mujeres (For Women Only) and appeared in a number of soap operas (telenovelas) which were popular in both Mexico and the United States.
He is part of the cast of the erotic show Sólo para mujeres and of the play Anita la huerfanita (the Mexican version of Annie) with Ana Layevska. He also dances and takes off his clothes on the erotic show called Solo Para Mujeres. He is a Mexican sex symbol.
Later he created the concept of Solo Para Mujeres with Alexis Ayala. He combined his singing and acting activities with his business and artistic representation with Espectaculos Mayer. Solo Para Mujeres "Only for Women" is a male strip show where many male models, including him, take off their clothes in public and show nothing but a thong.
Both actors had shared the television screen in Cuando llega el amor ("When love arrives").
