"Eres tú" (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈeɾes ˈtu]; "It's You") is a song recorded by Spanish band Mocedades, written by Juan Carlos Calderón. It represented Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 1973 held in Luxembourg placing second which was followed by a global success.
"Tu casa" (tú with an (acute) accent is the subject pronoun, tu with no accent is a possessive adjective) means "your house" in the familiar singular: the owner of the house is one person, and it is a person with whom one has the closer relationship the tú form implies.
Similarly, the participle agrees with the subject when it is used with ser to form the "true" passive voice (e.g. La carta fue escrita ayer 'The letter was written [got written] yesterday.'), and also when it is used with estar to form a "passive of result", or stative passive (as in La carta ya está escrita 'The letter is already written.').
