The Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), known for sponsorship purposes as the TotalEnergies Women's Africa Cup of Nations and formerly the African Women's Championship, is a biennial international women's football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) since 1998 as the qualification for the FIFA Women's World Cup for African nations.
The knockout stage of the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations was the second and final stage of the competition, following the group stage. It began on 13 July with the quarter-finals and ended on 23 July 2022 with the final held at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

Qualification for the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations began with the first round during the week of 18–26 October 2021 and concluded with the second during the week of 14–23 February 2022. For the first time in the tournament's history, 12 teams, including hosts ( Morocco ), [ 1 ] qualified to play in the group stages.
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Africa, each national team registered a squad of 26 players. [1] The age listed for each player is on 2 July 2022, the first day of the tournament. The numbers of caps and goals listed for each player do not include any matches played after the start of tournament.
