The Academies of Loudoun (ACL) is a magnet school in Leesburg, Virginia.It is part of Loudoun County Public Schools, and houses three schools with a focus on STEM education: The Academy of Engineering and Technology (AET), The Academy of Science (AOS), and the Monroe Advanced Technical Academy (MATA).
The previous mascot for the school, the Raider, was named after the Mosby's Raiders.The mascot was chosen by a segregated student body in 1954. [2] The original school seal depicted the Raider on horseback with a Confederate Battleflag in his hands.
Briar Woods High School opened on August 29, 2005 with its student body coming from Stone Bridge High School, Loudoun County High School, and Eagle Ridge Middle School. [2]

Loudoun Valley High School (more commonly known as Valley) is a public secondary school in Purcellville, Virginia.It is part of Loudoun County Public Schools.Before the opening of Woodgrove High School in 2010, it was the sole high school for the western half of Loudoun County (which includes Purcellville, Hamilton, Round Hill, Lovettsville, Hillsboro, Middleburg, Philomont and Bluemont).
