Sr. Norma Ysaac, D.C. moved to phase out the three-year G.N. program to introduce the Bachelor of Science in nursing. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports, granted it recognition on June 13, 1978 . With this new program, the name of the school was officially changed in 1980 to St. Anthony College of Roxas City.
