Sir Nicholas Alexander Faldo (born 18 July 1957) is an English retired professional golfer and television commentator. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, [1] he was renowned for his dedication to the game, [2] and was ranked No. 1 on the Official World Golf Ranking for a total of 97 weeks.
