Sign in to the AOL Account Security page. Scroll to the bottom of the page. First add a new email or phone number. Enter your new recovery info and follow the on-screen prompts. Click remove next to the old recovery option. Click Remove email or Remove phone to confirm.
Click Manage Profiles. Click the Email Accounts button. Look for the email account you want to update and double-click on it. Remove and re-enter your AOL Mail password. (Note: If you use an app password for Outlook, you may need to create a new app password. See the info below.) Check the status. When it says "Completed," click Close.
