Bank OZK began as a community bank in Jasper, Arkansas in 1903, expanding to a second location in Ozark, Arkansas in 1937. [3]In 1979, when the bank had 2 branches and $28 million in assets, George Gleason, a 25-year-old lawyer at the Rose Law Firm, bought the bank changed its name to Bank of the Ozarks.
KARK-TV (channel 4) is a television station in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States, affiliated with NBC.It is owned by Nexstar Media Group alongside MyNetworkTV affiliate KARZ-TV (channel 42); Nexstar also provides certain services to Fox affiliate KLRT-TV (channel 16) and Pine Bluff–licensed CW affiliate KASN (channel 38) under a local marketing agreement (LMA) with Mission Broadcasting.

This area was developed beginning in the 1840s, but its oldest buildings date to the 1890s, primarily brick commercial buildings. Of architectural note are the courthouse, a Beaux Arts structure built in 1903, and the Classical Revival Warren Bank building (1927).
