This is the second route in Oregon with the designation 224. There was an earlier version of OR 224 connecting US 99W (modern Oregon Route 99W) 3 miles (5 km) south of Monmouth to Oregon Route 223 near Lewisville following today's Elkins Rd. In those days, Oregon Route 223 followed today's Airlie Rd and Maple Grove Rd between Falls City and Pedee).
The new Clackamas Town Center TC and Green Line MAX station opened on September 12, 2009. [1] The station features a three-story, 750-space park-and-ride garage, and is served by 12 bus lines. The bus boarding area is located on the first level of the garage, which is connected to the MAX platform by a bridge over the I-205 Bike Path.
