Taroom Aboriginal Settlement is a heritage-listed Aboriginal reserve at Bundulla, Taroom, Shire of Banana, Queensland, Australia. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 13 May 2011. [1] It is also known as Taroom Aboriginal Reserve and Taroom Aboriginal Mission.
The Taroom War Memorial commemorates residents of Taroom Shire who served in World War I, World War II and the Vietnam War. It is located at the Ludwig Leichhardt Park in Yaldwyn Street and was dedicated in about 1973. [14] [15] Taroom town hall, 2014. The Taroom Town Hall was built in 2004, immediately next door to the shire council chambers.

This Petro-Canada and Tim Hortons is on an urban reserve in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories. The first such reserve was established in 1981 at Kylemore, Saskatchewan as operated by the Fishing Lake First Nation . Another urban reserve under the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation followed at Prince Albert in 1982. [2]
The Shire of Taroom was a local government area in the Darling Downs region of Queensland, Australia, along the Leichhardt Highway to the north of Miles.The shire covered an area of 18,644.5 square kilometres (7,198.7 sq mi), and existed as a local government area from 1879 until 2008, when it was dissolved and split between the new Western Downs Region and the Shire of Banana.
