Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) is a system of 16 public technical colleges administered by the state of Wisconsin. The system offers more than 500 programs, awarding two-year associate degrees, one- and two-year technical diplomas, and short-term technical diplomas and certificates.
The college also offers employee training, technical assistance, and consulting through the Corporate Training and Economic Development Department. From 2010 to 2011, NWTC served 1,084 businesses with customized training either on-site or in the classroom, training 20,083 employees.
The building is at 1615 State Street in La Crosse. The present building was built in 1940 and was known was the Campus School. [1] The Campus School continued until 1973, when it closed and was renamed Morris Hall in honor of Thomas Morris, who was instrumental in the establishment of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. Gateway Technical College is a public technical college in southeastern Wisconsin. It is one of the largest members of the state-run Wisconsin Technical College System, serving Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth counties.
