The Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA) is one of many virtual charter schools that is powered by the curriculum provider Stride Inc. The academy, like most Stride-supplied schools, provides the student with textbooks, materials, and a loaned computer, so the student can access their online lessons.
They can take up to five individual courses without enrolling in a full diploma program. There is no minimum age requirement to take a single course. The school serves five different types of students: Traditional students who want to earn their diplomas; Adult learners (including refugees) who want to complete their high school education [9]
Penta Career Center is a Public Vocational High School (grades 10-12) and Adult Education center located in Perrysburg Township, Wood County, Ohio, that opened operation in 1965.
