Sudarshan Faakir was born in Jalandhar in British Punjab in 1934. [2] After completing high school, he moved to Jalandhar and completed B.A. from DAV College. During college, he was very active in dramatics and poetry.

Sanam is an Indian pop rock band formed in 2010 currently based in Mumbai, India known for its renditions of old classic Indian Bollywood songs as well as its original music. The band SANAM consists of four partners Sanam Puri (lead vocalist), Samar Puri (lead guitar), Venky S or Venkat Subramaniyam (bass guitar) and Keshav Dhanraj (drummer).
Fakira is a 1976 Indian Hindi-language crime action film produced by N.N. Sippy and directed by C.P. Dixit.
