Blythe (/ ˈ b l aɪ θ /) is a city in eastern Riverside County, California, United States. It is in the Palo Verde Valley of the Lower Colorado River Valley region, an agricultural area and part of the Colorado Desert along the Colorado River , approximately 224 miles (360 km) east of Los Angeles and 150 miles (240 km) west of Phoenix .

Blythe is a city, mostly in Richmond County and partly in Burke County, [4] in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census , the city had a population of 744. It is part of the Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area .
The vast majority of Richmond County is located in the Middle Savannah River sub-basin of the Savannah River basin, with just the southwestern corner of the county, from a line running north from Blythe through the middle of Fort Eisenhower, located in the Brier Creek sub-basin of the Savannah River basin.
The Blythe Geoglyphs or intaglios (anthropomorphic geoglyphs) were created by scraping away layers of darker rocks or pebbles to reveal a stratum of lighter-valued soil. The displaced rocks outlined the figures and the exposed soil was stamped down which makes it more difficult for plants to grow in the lines.
