World Art Day is an international celebration of the fine arts which was declared by the International Association of Art (IAA) in order to promote awareness of creative activity worldwide. [ 1 ] [ 2 ]
The first World Art Nouveau Day in 2013 was organized by The Museum of Applied Arts (Budapest) (IMM) in cooperation with Szecessziós Magazin (a Hungarian Magazine about Art Nouveau). [ 2 ] [ 3 ] [ 4 ] The selected date – 10 June – is the anniversary of the death of two famous architects of the movement, Antoni Gaudí and Ödön Lechner .
Every May the school hosts a week-long celebration of the arts called Arts Week. During this week, classes are shortened to allow for artistic workshops and guest artists to give presentations. Its goal was to "emphasize the value of participating in art for all children."

World art studies is an expression used to define studies in the discipline of art history, which focus on the history of visual arts worldwide, its methodology, concepts and approach. The expression is also used within the academic curricula as title for specific art history courses and schools.
