Adventure is a village located in the Pomeroon-Supenaam Region of Guyana, on the Atlantic coast, at sea level, one mile south of Onderneeming.. Region 5 and 6 both also have villages called 'Adventure' in the 2012 census.
Annandale is a community in the Demerara-Mahaica region of Guyana, located on the Atlantic Ocean between Buxton, and Lusignan.Many of the inhabitants originally came from the Lusignan estate, [2] while the former slaves of the plantation, bought the neighbouring Orange Nassau plantation and named it Buxton. Onderneeming started as a plantation. After the abolitionism of slavery in 1833, [2] Indian indentured workers were brought to Guyana. The old Dutch fortress at Onderneeming housed the Indian Immigration Office. [3] Until the start of the 21st century, Onderneeming was a little village with a population of 150 people. [4]
Triumph is a village and regional capital of the Demerara-Mahaica region in Guyana. Paradise used to be the regional capital, however the administrative building burnt down in 2006. In 2009, a decision was made to rebuild in Triumph, which has therefore become the regional capital.

Kwakwani is a mining and logging village on the Berbice River in the Upper Demerara-Berbice Region of Guyana. [2] Its altitude is 44 metres (147 feet). Kwakwani is approximately 100 km south of Linden. In 1942, the Berbice Bauxite Company opened a Bauxite Mining in the area which is the main industry of the village. [3]
Met-en-Meerzorg (also Meten-Meer-Zorg) is a village located on the West Coast of Demerara in the region of Essequibo Islands-West Demerara in Guyana. The village was named after the sugar plantation Met en Meerzorg. [2] The community was founded in 1871. The village consists of a housing estate and a squatted village. [3]
