Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) is an American professional ballet company and school based in Harlem, New York City. It was founded in 1969 under the directorship of Arthur Mitchell and later partnered with Karel Shook. Milton Rosenstock served as the company's music director from 1981 to 1992.
Stafford became an apprentice at New York City Ballet in October 1998, and joined the corps de ballet in February 1999. He became a soloist in 2006, and taught in the School of American Ballet as a guest faculty. The following year, he was promoted to principal dancer, and joined SAB's permanent faculty.
Outside of the New York City Ballet, in 2021, he appeared in Twyla Tharp's Twyla Now program at the New York City Center, dancing in Cornbread and All In. [16] In 2022, he appeared in Tiler Peck's program at the City Center, dancing in King's Swift Arrow and Forsythe's The Barre Project (Blake Works II). [17]

Taylor was born in Houston, and started ballet at age 2.She moved to New Orleans with her family when she was 12. In 1995, Taylor entered the School of American Ballet in New York, and dance lead roles at the school annual workshop during her last two years of training, [2] before graduating in 1998. [3]
