David William Feherty (born 13 August 1958) is a Northern Irish-born former professional golfer and current golf broadcaster. As a touring professional he won five European Tour events, made the top 10 of the Open Championship twice ( 1989 and 1994 ), and played on Europe's 1991 Ryder Cup team.
Feherty is an American talk show that was broadcast by Golf Channel from 2011 to 2020. It was hosted by retired professional golfer and television analyst David Feherty, and featured one-on-one interviews between him and other notable figures in golf. It premiered on June 21, 2011, with an episode featuring an interview with Lee Trevino.

Feherty, another controversial (now former) CBS golf analyst known for his humor, sarcasm and outspokenness, worked the Masters tournament for 19 years. He parted ways with CBS back in 2015.
For the 2016 season, ESPN's golf production team disbanded, as Masters coverage was produced by CBS with CBS announcers. Also in January 2016, former CBS analyst David Feherty joined NBC to become a full-time contributor for its coverage and Golf Channel. Feherty already hosted a self-titled series for Golf Channel.
CBS has televised the Masters in the United States every year since 1956, [1] [2] [3] when it used six cameras and covered only the final four holes. Tournament coverage of the first eight holes did not begin until 1995 because of resistance from the tournament organizers, but by 2007, more than 50 cameras were used.
