[1]Zosimos of Panopolis (Greek: Ζώσιμος ὁ Πανοπολίτης; also known by the Latin name Zosimus Alchemista, i.e. "Zosimus the Alchemist") was an alchemist and Gnostic mystic.
Visions was created by Jeanne Le Guillou and Bruno Dega [3] and directed by Akim Isker. [4] [5] It was co-produced by Pauline Éon of Hanoi Productions, and The Film TV. [3] [6] [7] Filming took place in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, and wrapped on 13 August 2021. [8] Éric Neveux composed the music for the series. [6]
In the visions, Zosimos encounters a priest who changes into "the opposite of himself, into a mutilated anthroparion". [5]: 60 The Greek word "anthroparion" is similar to "homunculus" – a diminutive form of "person". Zosimos subsequently encounters other anthroparia in his dream but there is no mention of the creation of artificial life.

Visions is a 90-minute American television weekly anthology series that aired from 1976 to 1978. It was produced by KCET in Los Angeles [1] and televised nationally on PBS.It concentrated on the works of mostly new and some prominent writers, including Cormac McCarthy (The Gardener's Son), Marsha Norman, Jean Shepherd, Luis Valdez, and Robert M. Young.
Lisa Ryder as Abby Stevens (seasons 1–2), Boyd's wife, Ellis' mother, and a retired US Marine who appears during flashbacks and visions. Robert Verlaque as Martin (seasons 2–3), a strange elderly man who Boyd finds chained to a wall. Seamus Patterson as Brick (season 2), one of the bus passengers who has claustrophobia.
