The album, "Brazilian Nights (Live at ZincBar)" was released in 2011 under the Greta's Bakery music label. [4] In 2011, Greta moved back to Italy and started performing in various clubs and festivals including a series of concerts at Umbria Jazz Winter.
The Latin Side of Vince Guaraldi is the fifth studio album by Vince Guaraldi released by Fantasy Records in 1964. In a departure from his standard jazz output, Guaraldi combined elements of Brazilian and Caribbean styles of Latin jazz, utilizing a string quartet on five tracks. [1] [2] A remastered edition was released on CD in March 1996.
In a "Jazz Special Merit" review, Billboard noted that "Vince Guaraldi on piano and Bola Sete on guitar demonstrate that the Latin musical idiom can be combined with a U.S. sound to form good jazz. The two work so well together that it's often difficult to distinguish the piano from the guitar sounds."
