Michael R. Rappl [2] is an American former basketball and softball coach. From 1980 until 2014, Rappl was the head softball coach at Canisius College. [3] While at Canisius, Rappl helped build the program from a club team into a perennial NCAA tournament team and is considered a legendary figure in Canisius athletics history.

James M. Demske, S.J., (c. 1922 – June 15, 1994) was an American Jesuit priest, academic, academic administrator and, expert on existentialism.Demske served as the President of Canisius College, a private Jesuit college in Buffalo, New York, for 27-years from 1966 until 1993. [1]
J. Joseph Curran (June 28, 1922 – January 28, 2012) was an American college basketball coach. He coached at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York from 1953 to 1959.. Curran served in the United States Navy during World War II, then attended Canisius, Cornell and Pennsylvania State University after the war – playing basketball at Penn State during the 1943–44 season.
